Description
Mutant Records, in partnership with Howe Records, presents Howard Shores score for The Shroudsthe legendary composers 17th collaboration with filmmaker David Cronenberg. For over four decades, Shore and Cronenberg have created some of cinemas most haunting soundscapes (Crash, Videodrome, Dead Ringers, A History of Violence). The Shrouds continues this legacy with a score that is at once delicate and unsettling, weaving together hymns and organ textures to reflect themes of burial, decay, conspiracy, and the search for meaning in a technology-driven world. Pressed on 140g Gravestone vinyl and strictly limited to 500 copies worldwide, this release is a must-have for collectors of film scores, horror cinema fans, and admirers of Shores profound body of work.
