Description
Before the classic Psychocandy, the Jesus and Mary Chain recorded their demos with an unparalleled, raw energy. The two earliest of the demos (’83) on this 13 track LP shows them forming their indomitable sound with a less trashy approach than their debut. Drenched in violence and splashing with echo, the ’84 demos to follow are unnerving. This is the JAMC you’ve never heard.
