Description
Japan’s Eiko Ishibashi, a celebrated pianist and improviser, returns to a singer-songwriter style for her fourth album of cerebral pop music. Recorded and mixed by Jim O’Rourke, “The Dream My Bones Dream” is an album-length journey into her unknown family past. Intense and expansive, progressive but sweetly melodic, Eiko’s music is immaculately rendered, underscoring the emotion of her journey and making for compelling listening.
