DEAD – the uncompromising debut album from one of the UKs most essential and in-demand
bands, Young Fathers, is getting a deluxe reissue befitting of its status to celebrate a decade
since the original release as part of Record Store Day 2024.
The album took the genre defying Scotting trio from underground heroes to being well on their way to one of the countries most
cherished collectives. In the ten years that have passed since DEAD, Young Fathers have
released three more acclaimed albums, including Heavy Heavy in 2023 which was also nominated
for the Mercury and saw them play many huge shows including a triumphant Glastonbury set on
the West Holts as well as join Depeche Mode as Special Guests on a worldwide stadium tour.
