Earlier in 2010 Nette brought out her first CD ‘The Little Big Band Plays’ (on 33 Jazz) with her own arrangements of classic Duke and Basie repertoire. With ‘Remembered Time’ she illuminates another end of the spectrum: the brand new [for most] songs of Michael Garrick and the exacting beauty of legendary Bill Evans compositions. With Michael at the Steinway she re-members the 30th anniversary of Bill’s death (September 1980) with a programme that is intensely harmonic, varied and richly emotional.
