The long sinewy fingers slide over the strings of the double bass and send deep tones into the room. The vibrations can be felt throughout the body. The piano chimes in, first with swinging dub, soon laid back, calmly, in broken chords and with a melody seasoned with the blue tones on which both American jazz and Nordic folk songs are based.
